The TxGAP Governing Board of Directors comprises elected and appointed individuals responsible for running the organization by adhering to the Bylaws and standards adopted by the organization. Board and most committee chair positions serve a term of three (3) years.
At TxGAP, our vision for the upcoming year is to anchor our strategic initiatives and overall direction around five core values: Service, Ambitious, Trust, Respect, and Cohesion. These values are not just guiding principles but are integral to the very fabric of our organization. By embedding these values into every aspect of our work, we aim to foster a thriving community, drive innovation, and build a resilient and unified organization that is well-equipped to meet the needs of our members and stakeholders. Through this commitment, we will enhance our impact and ensure sustainable growth and success for TxGAP.
Service: Prioritizing service means that we focus on meeting the needs of our members and community. This will enhance our reputation and ensure that we are providing real value, fostering loyalty and long-term engagement.
Ambition: By embracing ambition, we set high standards and pursue excellence in all our initiatives. This drives innovation, encourages continual improvement, and positions TxGAP as a leader in our field.
Trust: Building trust involves maintaining transparency, reliability, and ethical practices in all our actions. Trust is foundational for strong relationships with members, partners, and stakeholders, enabling smoother collaboration and support.
Respect: Fostering a culture of respect ensures that all interactions within the organization are positive and inclusive. Respecting diverse perspectives and contributions strengthens our community and promotes a positive work environment.
Cohesion: Promoting cohesion means ensuring that all parts of the organization are aligned and working together towards common goals. This unity enhances our effectiveness, amplifies our impact, and ensures that everyone is moving in the same direction.
These values are interconnected, creating a solid foundation for our strategic vision. Trust and respect build a strong organizational culture, which enhances cohesion. Service, driven by ambitious goals, ensures we are always striving to do better for our community. Together, these values create a synergistic effect, leading to a more effective and unified TxGAP.
